data entry in the editor's "excel style" window

Post  Jdudeo on Wed Jul 03, 2013 12:57 am

I wouldn't necessarily classify this as a bug, but I've noticed a certain behavior in the new editor that seems to differ from that of the old version and slows down my layout management process.
In the "Excel-style" view of all controllers' parameters, when I try to enter a new value for (in my case) CC/Note# I highlight the field I want to edit and type a number. Whereas before, typing a new number would replace the old number, in the new editor the old number remains and any entered data goes after what was there originally, forcing one to manually delete the old data before entering the new data.
Since the new editor came out I haven't had to edit any large amounts of data this way but I can easily see how if I wanted to input a lot of numbers this would slow me down and would like to request a return to the old behavior of newly entered data replacing previous data when typed.

Sorry, I didn't see your post until now!

I've got a new version coming out in about a week (more or less), so I'll make this change Smile
