Low priority design suggestions

Post  Burtan on Thu Jan 03, 2013 8:19 am

Hi,

here are some proposals for the design of objects:

- make the border scaleable
- allow colour gradients in faders
- add a variable for the position of objects, e.g. foreground, middle, background

- receive OSC values during touch
-> I use DAWOSC to design a controller for the digital mixers of RME (Audiointerfaces), named TotalMixFX. I use faders to show the channel levels. When moving a fader, DAWOSC stops drawing the levels (which get there values by OSC)

I've added these to the list of things to add Smile Thanks for ideas!

I'm not sure what you mean by:

- add a variable for the position of objects, e.g. foreground, middle, background

Could you explain that one to me?

There was a technical reason for this - a "feedback loop" was created when DAWOSC was sending and receiving data at the same time, but you just gave me a great idea on how to fix that Smile

With position for objects I mean the layer. At the moment labels are always behind other objects but I'd like to create a small label in front of my level meters to show the level value (in dB). To achieve this, I must put the labels in front of other objects.
I think 3 layers to determine which objects is front, middle and background would be enough for any situation.

Anyway, thank you for beeing so cooperative Smile

I'll add it to the list.
