Archos 101it screen offset

Post  ep7a on Sun Feb 10, 2013 5:12 am

Does anyone else have an Archos 101 running DAWOsc? I have a problem with an offset only on Y axis (about 1cm). Anyone with a similar problem (and maybe the solution for it?)

Cyanogenmod allows "Fullscreen" mode. I'm using it on my Galaxy Nexus to use the full display (blend out touch buttons and notification bar). Perhaps that could solve your problem. However, it's quite some work and risk to install a custom rom.

Perhaps it would reinitialize the screen with correct pixel allocation.

it's only DawOsc with this offset. Additional info: I've read somewhere that archos 101 reports false screen resolution to some programs. Sad

I think I have this issue fixed. Google Play should have the update available in about an hour.

The offset should be roughly the size of the menu bar (or title bar) on your device. If you're still seeing this offset problem, post it here and I'll look into it further.

Offset on Arnova 10g2

Post  newemka on Thu May 02, 2013 9:33 am

Hello, I'm experiencing the same offset issue on my Arnova 10g2 (which is quite the same hardware as the Archos 101)

I'm going to be releasing a new version in a days that has options to set a touch offset for the X-axis and the Y-axis. That should solve your problem Smile
